Sometimes it is necessary that the dog unit in service is not identified, and in this case the dog driver in plain clothes with the free dog or with an extensible leash will walk safely in the vicinity of the place, the person or the thing to check; for this type of work it will be necessary to use a trained dog to signal the presence of any substances with imperceptible movements to the eye of the laymen. In the case of positive signaling, the handler will call the units in clear service which will apply the Standard procedure for the verification of any source.
